Climate-Smart Farming

Building food security and climate resilience by training pastoralist women in drought-resistant crops, water-efficient irrigation, and regenerative agriculture.

Drought cycles in West Pokot are growing longer and more severe. Our Climate-Smart Farming programme equips mothers and female-headed households with the techniques and inputs needed to keep food on the table through dry seasons - combining traditional pastoralist knowledge with modern regenerative practices.
